Who Will Carry Out the Installation?
We supply a Wi-Fi router, an Optical Network Unit (ONU) and installation services for you.
We offer basic cabling services up to 20 metres from point-of-entry, such as the main front door (6 metres from the socket for buildings that have pre-laid fibre in place) to where you will keep equipment such as the router. If there is a need to relocate the equipment in the future, we will charge a fee based on the necessary cabling material and manpower required for the job. There may also be additional charges for any requests over the provided basic cabling services depending upon the request. Please don’t hesitate to ask for an approved rate card to verify the cost – if applicable – that should be made payable directly to the installer.
There may be some drilling as part of the installation process. We always request permission before drilling.
The installation process can take between 2 and 4 hours depending upon your location and the type of unit you live in. This process involves the initial site survey and includes ducting, piping, electrical work, and the configuration and testing of equipment.
